چکیده
Objective: To analyze the risk factors of catheter-related bloodstream infection in outpatients and propose feasible prevention control measures. Methods: The medical records with peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected for retrospective analysis, that may be related occurrence analyzed by logistic multivariate analysis. Results: incidence rate among enrolled patients was 4.78%. It found age, duration catheterization, site, number punctures, diabetes all catheter-associated infection, differences statistically significant. Conclusion: Age, catheterization are personnel should fully understand learn more about these actively develop countermeasures reduce infection.

Central venous catheter-related bloodstream infection caused by Staphylococcus aureus: microbiology and risk factors.
Although central vascular catheters (CVC) are indispensable in modern medicine, they are an important risk factor for primary bacteremias. We examined the incidence and risk factors associated with catheter-related bloodstream infection (CR-BSI) caused by Staphylococcus aureus in surgical patients. A prospective study was carried out in the Hospital das Clínicas da Universidade Federal de Uberl...

BACKGROUND Catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSI) are a leading cause of nosocomial infections associated with significant mortality and costs. The objective of this study was to determine the rate of CRBSI in two large Swiss hospitals and to identify risk factors for this condition. PATIENTS AND METHODS During 1 year all central venous catheter (CVC)-inserted in patients admitted fo...

PURPOSE To date, the risk factors for central venous port-related bloodstream infection (CVPBSI) in solid cancer patients have not been fully elucidated. We conducted this study in order to determine the risk factors for CVP-BSI in patients with solid cancer. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 1,642 patients with solid cancer received an implantable central venous port for delivery of chemother...
